Senior Mechanical BIM Modeler

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical BIM Modeler with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Revit MEP and BIM workflows. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently developing detailed 3D mechanical models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and producing accurate construction documents as per project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and manage 3D Mechanical HVAC models using Revit MEP.
• Prepare detailed design drawings including HVAC ducting, piping, equipment layouts, and mechanical schedules.
• Work closely with BIM Coordinators, Mechanical Engineers, and other discipline modelers for design coordination.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and implement corrections based on coordination meetings.
• Ensure models are created as per project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and client specifications.
• Generate shop drawings, sections, elevation views, and as-built documentation.
• Maintain model accuracy and update revisions as per design changes.
• Work with point cloud data for scan-to-BIM projects (if applicable).
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and ensure timely deliverables.
• Support junior modelers by providing guidance and quality checks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical (HVAC) BIM Modeler.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building systems: HVAC, ventilation, chilled water, VRF systems, etc.
• Experience in LOD 300–500 model development.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical design drawings, schematics, and construction documents.
• Good understanding of BIM standards, coordination processes, and workflows.
• Experience with clash detection and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD MEP is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with international projects (US, UK, Middle East).
• Exposure to Scan to BIM and CAD to BIM projects.
• Familiarity with Dynamo or other automation tools.
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
