Senior Mechanical Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit material submittals, shop drawings, and daily work progress reports.
• Review project specifications, design drawings, and scope of work to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting calculations and design layouts for villas, offices, retail shops, and F&B outlets.
• Supervise and monitor site activities, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site teams for smooth project execution.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and UAE authorities (such as Dubai Municipality and Civil Defense) for design approvals and inspections.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant UAE experience in MEP systems, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Experience in fit-out or interior projects will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
