Senior Mechanical Engineer (MEP)

Penspen www.penspen.com is looking for an experienced, 12+ Years experience, Senior Mechanical Engineer-MEP to join our engineering team for a major Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project.

Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and experience in major brownfield FEED/EPC projects will be an advantage for the candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer-MEP to join our engineering team for a major Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project.
Lead the MEP equipment engineering activities for FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases of oil & gas projects.
Develop data sheets, specifications, and requisitions for MEP equipment
Review vendor offers, perform technical bid evaluations, and participate in vendor meetings and design reviews.
Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and other relevant international standards.
Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation, and electrical disciplines for equipment integration.
Review vendor documents (GA drawings, datasheets, performance curves, etc.) and ensure timely approval.
Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and design review workshops.
Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables for quality and accuracy.
Support client and internal audits and ensure adherence to project quality and safety standards. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and experience in major brownfield FEED/EPC projects will be an advantage for the candidate.
