Senior Mechanical Engineer (Saudi Nationals Only)

Role Overview

Crystal Facilities Management (CFM) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (Saudi National) to lead and supervise mechanical engineering activities across multiple projects in Riyadh. The role focuses on ensuring quality execution, compliance, and operational efficiency of all mechanical systems.

Nationality Requirement

• This position is open to Saudi Nationals only
• Must hold valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)

Key Responsibilities1. Engineering Supervision & Execution

• Supervise mechanical works including:
• HVAC systems (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs)
• Plumbing and drainage systems
• Firefighting systems (Sprinklers, Pumps, Hydrants)
• Ventilation and exhaust systems
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, ASHRAE, NFPA standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and technical audits

2. Project & Contractor Management

• Monitor contractor performance and project timelines
• Identify risks, delays, and non-compliance issues
• Approve or reject completed works based on technical standards
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, and BMS teams

3. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Oversee testing and commissioning of mechanical systems
• Validate system performance and efficiency
• Ensure complete documentation and smooth project handover

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare:
• Technical reports
• Inspection reports
• Progress updates
• Maintain documentation for audits, compliance, and approvals

5. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety measures
• Ensure compliance with Civil Defense and regulatory authorities

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) – Active Registration (Mandatory)
• 7–10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering supervision
• Strong expertise in:
• HVAC systems
• Firefighting systems
• Plumbing systems
• Building services engineering
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD
• Revit MEP
• MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, government, or high-profile facilities
• NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 41001, ISO 45001
• Strong Arabic communication skills

Pay: From ﷼16,000.00 per month
