About Us

UVTREAT / Kernel Medical is a vertically integrated medical device company with over 30 years of engineering and manufacturing experience in light-based therapeutic and diagnostic solutions. We design, develop, manufacture, and distribute FDA-cleared clinical-grade medical equipment — serving dermatologists, gynecologists, rehabilitation specialists, and aesthetic practitioners worldwide.

With 100+ SKUs in our portfolio, our product lines include NB-UVB phototherapy systems (full-body cabinets and handheld units), 308nm excimer lasers, LED phototherapy panels, full-body LED beds, hair restoration devices, colposcopes, pelvic floor rehabilitation equipment, and advanced diagnostic imaging systems. We maintain domestic inventory in the U.S., provide local technical service and support, and carry full U.S. product liability insurance.

Beyond our standard catalog, we offer ODM/OEM development and manufacturing capabilities — designing and producing custom medical devices to specification for large-scale distribution and private label partners.

We release new products and device iterations every year, integrating modern software interfaces, precision sensors, and advanced optics into our systems. Our engineering philosophy prioritizes clinical performance, build quality, and patient safety — every device undergoes rigorous testing and FDA clearance. Our mission is to bring safer, more effective treatment alternatives and the latest diagnostic technologies to healthcare providers and their patients — making high-quality clinical solutions accessible and affordable.

We are a growing company with a global manufacturing base and an expanding U.S. presence, building toward domestic production.

The Role

We're hiring a Senior Medical Sales Executive to drive revenue growth across our full product portfolio in the U.S. market. This is a dual-track role: you will sell directly to healthcare practices, clinic networks, and hospitals, and equally important — you will develop and manage distributor and channel partnerships to scale our market reach nationwide.

You will work directly with the CEO, executing agreed-upon go-to-market strategies. A dedicated sales assistant will support you with documentation, presentations, lead processing, and scheduling so you can stay focused on revenue-generating activity.

What You'll Do

Distributor & Channel Development

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard medical equipment distributors and regional channel partners across the U.S.
  • Manage and grow distributor relationships — set expectations, provide sales tools and training, monitor performance, and drive accountability
  • Structure distributor agreements including volume commitments, territory exclusivity, pricing tiers, and OEM/private label arrangements
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for distribution partners — coordinate orders, resolve issues, ensure partner satisfaction and retention

Direct Sales

  • Sell directly to individual practices, multi-location clinic networks, hospitals, and institutional buyers
  • Own the full sales cycle — prospecting, qualification, consultative presentations, proposal development, negotiation, and close
  • Conduct in-person client visits and product demonstrations focused on clinical value, workflow integration, and ROI for the practice
  • Identify unmet clinical needs within client organizations and propose custom device solutions leveraging our ODM/OEM manufacturing capabilities

Market Development & Tenders

  • Participate in commercial and government tender and RFP processes
  • Attend and actively work major domestic trade shows and conferences (AAD, FIME, and others)
  • Represent the company at international trade shows and congresses (European dermatology conferences and others as needed)
  • Track market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline data in HubSpot CRM
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory plans
  • Collaborate with the CEO on pricing strategy, market prioritization, and go-to-market planning

Team Building

  • Initially operate as the sole senior sales hire, establishing and proving the sales process independently
  • As verticals and revenue grow, recruit, train, and manage additional sales representatives for specific product lines or projects
  • Build the sales playbook — scripts, objection handling, demo materials, and onboarding guides for future team members

What We're Looking For

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in medical devices, capital equipment, or healthcare
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quota
  • Demonstrated experience managing distributor and channel partner relationships
  • Experience selling to physicians, clinic networks, healthcare facilities, and/or large-scale enterprise buyers
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals with extended sales cycles
  • Self-directed professional who builds own pipeline, manages own schedule, and drives deals to close with minimal oversight
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills
  • Strong CRM discipline — accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Mobile and flexible — comfortable with frequent travel including client visits, trade shows, and international conferences
  • Experience building a sales process from the ground up — and then scaling it by hiring a team
  • Valid driver's license

Nice-to-Have:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred — we serve Latin American markets and work with Spanish-speaking partners and clinicians at international conferences
  • Experience in dermatology, phototherapy, aesthetics, or light-based medical devices
  • Existing relationships with dermatology clinics, clinic networks, or medical equipment distributors
  • Familiarity with FDA-cleared device requirements, insurance reimbursement workflows, and GPO/IDN purchasing
  • Experience with government and commercial tender/RFP processes
  • Experience building or scaling a sales function at a growing company
  • Background in OEM/ODM or private label sales relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field (relevant experience valued equally)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $90,000
  • Commission: Uncapped — paid on closed revenue across all product lines and distribution channels
  • OTE: $200,000+ — high-value distributor and enterprise deals carry significant per-deal commissions
  • Business travel reimbursed (flights, hotels, business meals, conference registration)
  • Paid time off + federal holidays
  • Dedicated sales assistant for documentation, presentations, lead processing, and scheduling support
  • Clinical and technical product training provided by the company
  • Growth path: Build and lead your own sales team as the company scales — this role evolves into VP of Sales

Why Join Us

  • Vertically integrated manufacturer — you're not reselling someone else's product, you're selling what we design and build
  • 100+ SKU portfolio across multiple medical specialties — diverse revenue opportunities, not a single-product bet
  • ODM/OEM capabilities give you a unique selling proposition no rep firm or distributor can match
  • Direct access to the CEO — your input shapes company strategy, not just your territory plan
  • Ground-floor opportunity in a company with global manufacturing scale and a rapidly growing U.S. operation
  • A company at the forefront of clinical innovation — new devices every year, advanced diagnostics, and safer treatment alternatives for chronic conditions. You'll sell products that genuinely advance the quality of patient care

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Paid time off
  • Relocation assistance
  • Travel reimbursement

Experience:

  • medical devices, capital equipment, or healthcare sales: 3 years (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Required)
