Senior MEP

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Engineer (Mechanical) to join our multidisciplinary engineering consultancy team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the design, review, coordination, and supervision of mechanical building services for large-scale projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and review of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Ventilation, and Mechanical Building Services systems.
• Prepare and review design calculations, technical reports, specifications, tender documents, and engineering submissions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, international standards, project requirements, and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless multidisciplinary integration.
• Review and approve mechanical drawings, BIM models, material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Attend client, consultant, and authority meetings and provide technical support throughout all project phases.
• Support project planning, design development, value engineering, and technical decision-making.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of engineering standards and best practices within the organization.
• Assist in obtaining approvals from relevant authorities and ensure adherence to local codes and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in MEP engineering, at least 6 years of experience within the UAE working for an engineering consultancy firm.
• Proven experience in the design and supervision of high-rise, residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements, including Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, and other relevant authorities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM coordination, and industry-standard design software.
• Strong understanding of international design codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and SMACNA.
• Excellent technical, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
