Senior MEP Engineer

Should have Minimum 3 Years of UAE experience in construction / Renovation
Should have UAE Driving License
Candidate who are on cancelled Visa / join immediate will be given preference

The MEP Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for construction and renovation projects. The role ensures that all MEP installations comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations while supporting efficient execution on-site.

Key Responsibilities1. Design & Engineering

• Prepare and review MEP designs, drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architects and structural engineers to integrate MEP systems into overall designs.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and material selection (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems).

2. Project Coordination

• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and vendors for proper execution of MEP works.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Attend site meetings and ensure alignment with the construction schedule.

3. Site Execution & Supervision

• Monitor MEP installations on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project standards.
• Identify conflicts and propose technical solutions.
• Ensure smooth integration of MEP services during renovation projects with minimal disruption.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all MEP systems adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct site inspections, testing & commissioning of MEP systems.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation and handover packages.

5. Cost & Procurement Support

• Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and material requisitions.
• Review vendor quotations and support procurement decisions.
• Optimize system designs to maintain cost-effectiveness.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain updated records of drawings, specifications, and changes.
• Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Manage snag lists and ensure timely project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in construction and renovation projects (depending on seniority level).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and MEP design software.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety standards.

Pay: AED6,800.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
