Senior MEP Resident Engineer

Job Summary:

The Senior MEP Resident Engineer is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing the planning, and execution of Mechanical systems of the projects, ensuring they meet client needs, budget, and regulatory requirements. As a team leader, you will lead the team of Mechanical professional, provide guidance, and are responsible for the overall success and quality of projects, working closely with the Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC) team of over 80 site professionals. Reporting to the Project Management Consultant (PMC) and the Client, you will ensure the project meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and design integrity. This role requires a strategic leader with the expertise to execute a vision, manage resources, and deliver outstanding results within set timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise on-site MEP construction, coordinating HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and power distribution.

• Monitor contractor performance, review submittals and schedules, enforce quality control.

• Lead site meetings to resolve technical and contractual issues.

• Ensure HSE and regulatory compliance for all MEP works.

• Prepare progress reports, manage delays/claims, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; 15+ years in MEP supervision, including 5+ years as Resident Engineer in the Middle East.

• Expert in HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, power distribution; familiar with FIDIC.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and claims management skills.
