Senior Merchandiser

Epic Fashion is a leading garment factory specializing in the production of high-fashion denim apparel for international brands. We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Merchandiser to join our dynamic team.

The Senior Merchandiser will be responsible for overseeing the entire merchandising cycle for our denim products, from initial buyer inquiry to final shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end merchandising process for designated accounts.
• Serve as the main point of contact for international buyers and buying houses, handling all daily communication, updates, and clarifications.
• Coordinate with internal departments, including design, sampling, production, and quality assurance, to ensure all buyer requirements are met throughout the production cycle.
• Oversee product development and sampling, including the sourcing of fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Conduct costing and price negotiation with buyers and suppliers to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Develop and manage the Time and Action (T&A) calendar, proactively identifying and resolving any potential bottlenecks or delays in the production process.
• Possess a deep understanding of denim-specific processes, including wet and dry washing, laser finishing, and shade approvals, and communicate these technical details effectively to all stakeholders.
• Monitor production status closely, ensuring quality standards are maintained and conducting inspections as required.
• Coordinate with logistics and shipping departments to ensure seamless and timely shipment of finished goods.
• Regularly update senior management on the status of all orders and account performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in garment merchandising, with solid, hands-on experience in denim production.
• Proven track record of managing and executing orders from development to shipment.
• In-depth knowledge of denim fabric, construction, washing, and finishing processes is a must.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• A strong, positive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
