Senior Millwright (Automation Industry)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Millwright with a strong background in industrial automation systems, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry. This role involves on-site mechanical installation, equipment alignment, and support during commissioning phases across multiple customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, align, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment
• Perform mechanical installation of conveyors, fixtures, tooling, and robotic cells
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and layout plans
• Support equipment commissioning and production ramp-up
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site and provide corrective actions
• Follow all safety procedures and site-specific requirements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Millwright or Mechanical Technician in automation environments
• Automotive industry experience strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing and able to travel 70% or more
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on installation skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with robotic cells and automated assembly lines
• Familiarity with manufacturing plant environments
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
