Senior .Net Developer

We are looking for a Senior Dot NET Backend Developer to join the team at our client and help design, build, and scale our backend services. You will take end-to-end ownership of features, contribute to architecture decisions, and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs using Dot NET.
• Contributing to high-level architecture discussions and proposing reliable, efficient solutions.
• Working with AWS cloud services and deploying/maintaining infrastructure.
• Using Terraform to manage Infrastructure-as-Code in a version-controlled, reproducible manner.
• Managing PostgreSQL databases - including schema design, optimisation, indexing, performance tuning, and query optimisation.
• Collaborating closely with frontend, mobile, and data teams to deliver integrated features.
• Ensuring high-quality code through testing, reviews, and best practices.
• Monitoring and optimising performance, reliability, and cost of backend systems.
• Operating in a startup-like environment where ownership and proactive problem-solving are key.

Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience building backend applications using .NET / C#.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL — schema design, performance tuning, indexing, and query optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, etc.).
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Deep understanding of REST API design, microservices, distributed systems, and data modelling.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews.
• Ability to independently drive features end-to-end and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills.
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones (focus on USA & Europe).

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container environments.
• Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Prior experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or OEM-related SaaS systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps, system reliability, and performance tuning.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
