Senior Net Revenue Analyst (healthcare net revenue accounting - NOT FP&A / corporate finance)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Net Revenue Analyst to support financial reporting, net revenue analysis, and reimbursement strategy within a complex healthcare environment. This role plays a key part in monthly close processes, revenue forecasting, and variance analysis while collaborating across finance, accounting, and revenue cycle teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead net revenue analysis and support monthly financial close processes
- Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations
- Analyze revenue trends and identify key drivers impacting net revenue performance
- Develop and maintain net revenue reserve methodologies
- Prepare financial schedules and reporting for internal leadership and external auditors
- Perform managed care contract performance trending and reimbursement analysis
- Research and explain variances related to payer contracts and reimbursement structures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, revenue cycle, and operations
- Support net revenue software implementations and process improvements
- Contribute to regulatory and reimbursement change analysis (government and commercial payors)
- Serve as a mentor and resource to junior analysts
- Participate in the Crowe RCA user community and stay current on system updates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 7+ years of net revenue accounting/analysis experience
- Hands-on experience with Kodiak (Crowe) – REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of revenue accounting principles and reimbursement methodologies
- Experience with commercial and government payer structures
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and financial systems (e.g., Lawson, EPSI)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Houston with flexibility for hybrid schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, MAcc, or related)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Experience with healthcare revenue cycle environments
- Familiarity with financial reporting for audits and external stakeholders
