Senior Odoo Engineer (Techno-Functional)

Leading Folks is looking for a Senior Odoo Engineer (Techno-Functional) to lead the development, customization, and optimization of an Odoo platform for a high-growth KSA-based company .

We’re looking for someone who can do both:

• think like a business operator
• build like a strong engineer

You’ll work across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Support , translating operational complexity into scalable Odoo solutions that are clean, stable, and built to last.

• Odoo development, customization, and module enhancements
• Custom modules, advanced workflows, and automations
• Third-party integrations including payments, logistics APIs, and operational systems
• Odoo upgrades, migrations, and release planning
• PostgreSQL optimization and platform scalability
• Production troubleshooting with minimal downtime
• Security, access control, and internal compliance

Functional optimization across:

• Accounting
• CRM
• Helpdesk
• Projects

• 5+ years of hands-on Odoo development experience
• Strong experience with Odoo Accounting
• Experience supporting CRM, Helpdesk, and Projects
• Strong Python skills
• Solid PostgreSQL knowledge
• Deep understanding of Odoo ORM, QWeb, XML, APIs, and deployments
• Strong grasp of finance and operations workflows
• Experience in multi-company / multi-branch environments

• VAT / ZATCA exposure
• Odoo Enterprise experience
• Performance tuning experience
• Background in logistics, supply chain, or high-transaction setups
• Odoo certification
• Experience mentoring junior developers

This is a high-ownership role with direct influence on the ERP roadmap. You won’t be buried in tickets. You’ll be solving meaningful business problems with visible impact.
