Senior OpenCart & PHP Developer

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior OpenCart & Angular Developer with 7+ years of proven expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge in PHP, OpenCart, Twig, and Angular, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex integrations. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing security best practices, and ensuring smooth deployments across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, customization, and optimization of OpenCart-based e-commerce platforms.
• Develop and maintain custom OpenCart modules, extensions, and plugins.
• Customize checkout flows, product catalogs, multi-store features, and user experiences.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs and integrate third-party services (payment gateways, shipping, ERP, etc.).
• Ensure code quality, security compliance, and adherence to industry best practices.
• Oversee deployments and troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive designs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Deep understanding of OpenCart architecture, extension development, and theme customization.
• Expert-level PHP and MySQL skills (experience with Azure environments is preferred).
• Minimum 6+ years experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on Twig template development.
• Strong understanding of Angular for front-end development and dynamic UI building.
• Proven experience in security hardening, performance tuning, and scalable architecture design.
• Ability to manage version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of e-commerce.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting environments and automated deployments.
