Job Title: OpenShift / Kubernetes Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift / Kubernetes Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing and optimizing Red Hat OpenShift clusters, Kubernetes administration, and automation, along with a solid understanding of containerized platforms. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling highly available systems while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift
• Completion of Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of CI/CD DevOps tools (ArgoCD, GitLab)
• Infrastructure build automation using Terraform
• Experience with monitoring tools – Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana

Key Responsibilities

• Install, manage, and upgrade OpenShift clusters
• Work with Docker and container technologies
• Leverage cloud computing services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) for scalable solutions
• Architect and maintain highly scalable and highly available systems
• Set up monitoring, logging, and backup management for OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms
• Drive and implement automation of operational tasks
• Ensure security, storage, networking, and RBAC best practices within Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
• Lead and own RCA and post-mortem processes
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and documentation
• Deliver impactful presentations and knowledge sharing sessions
• Work with infrastructure and platform components (containers, middleware, messaging, routing)
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complex issues
• Balance and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes administration
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) credential is mandatory
• Solid understanding of container platforms and modern infrastructure
• Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams and projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 per year
