About the Role:
At Dumas Recovery & Environmental Services in Al-Asimah, Kuwait, we operate in a fast-paced, field-driven industry where operational excellence directly impacts environmental outcomes and service reliability. We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager (Environmental & Recovery Services) who can take full ownership of our day-to-day operations, optimize logistics, and lead high-performing field teams.
This is not a desk-only management role—you will be deeply involved in real-world operations, coordinating people, equipment, and processes across environmental recovery, waste handling, and logistics activities. You will be the key link between field execution and strategic leadership, ensuring that operations run efficiently, safely, and at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Lead and oversee daily operations across environmental recovery, waste management, and field service activities. Ensure smooth execution of all site operations.
Team Management:
Supervise field supervisors, drivers, operators, and logistics staff. Provide clear direction, performance feedback, and operational support.
Logistics & Fleet Coordination:
Optimize routing, scheduling, and fleet utilization to improve efficiency and reduce operational delays or costs.
Performance Management:
Track operational KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to increase productivity and service quality.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and local regulations.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Work closely with internal leadership, clients, and external partners to ensure smooth service delivery and issue resolution.
Operational Improvement:
Identify gaps in processes and implement scalable improvements across systems, workflows, and field execution.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
7–12+ years in operations management, logistics, industrial services, construction, waste management, or similar field-based industries.
Leadership Background:
Proven experience managing teams in operational or field environments with responsibility for performance and execution.
Operational Expertise:
Strong understanding of logistics coordination, fleet operations, or service delivery systems in real-world environments.
HSE Awareness:
Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental compliance standards is strongly preferred.
Problem-Solving Mindset:
Ability to make decisions quickly, resolve operational challenges, and maintain efficiency under pressure.
Communication:
Strong ability to coordinate across teams and report clearly to senior leadership. English required; Arabic is an advantage.
Mindset:
You are a hands-on operations leader who focuses on execution, accountability, and continuous improvement. You understand when to streamline, when to scale, and when to intervene directly to keep operations running smoothly.
