We're looking for a driven, people-focused Senior Operations Manager who thrives on building high-performing teams, delivering operational excellence, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Verde's services across assigned customer accounts. This role ensures customer needs are met with excellence by effectively managing people, resources, budgets, quality standards, and operational performance.
You will serve as a key leader within the organization, fostering strong client relationships, developing future leaders, and driving continuous improvement while embodying Verde's Mission, Vision, and Core Values.

Champion a culture where safety always comes first.

Proactively identify, assess, and resolve safety hazards and security concerns.

Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions when needed.

Ensure proper use and compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

Maintain expertise in janitorial industry equipment, tools, materials, and best practices.

Lead by example through consistent adherence to Verde's safety standards and training programs.

Educate employees and customers on sustainability initiatives and green cleaning practices.

Support environmentally responsible sourcing and operational practices.

Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, and minimize environmental impact.

Maintain knowledge of green cleaning methods, products, and equipment.

Foster an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.

Support community engagement and volunteer initiatives in partnership with corporate teams.

Serve as a champion of Verde's Mission, Vision, and Core Values throughout daily operations.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.

Address customer concerns promptly and ensure timely resolution.

Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staffing, route planning, and resource allocation.

Monitor performance and drive accountability across teams.

Mentor, coach, and develop emerging leaders within the organization.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.

Perform additional duties as needed to support operational success.

5+ years of operations management experience, preferably in janitorial, facilities services, property services, or a related industry.

Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.

Experience managing budgets, labor, and operational performance metrics.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and execute in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Bilingual proficiency required: English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).

Passion for leadership, service excellence, sustainability, and people development.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Frequent walking and use of hands for operating equipment and performing detailed tasks.
