Senior Oracle Database Administrator (Exadata)

Role Summary:

Lead the administration, performance, availability, and security of Oracle databases on Exadata platforms in mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead installation, configuration, and management of Oracle databases on Exadata

Perform advanced performance tuning and capacity planning

Manage HA/DR solutions (RAC, ASM, Data Guard)

Oversee backups, recovery, and DR drills using RMAN

Plan and execute upgrades, patching, and migrations

Ensure database security, compliance, and best practices

Mentor junior DBAs and provide L3/L4 production support

Required Skills & Experience:

5 to 6+ years of Oracle DBA experience

Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle Exadata

Deep knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c/21c

Expert in RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard

Strong Linux/Unix administration skills

Proven experience in performance troubleshooting

Preferred:

Oracle OCP/OCE certifications

Experience in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments
