Senior Orthopedic Surgeon - Private Tertiary Care Hospital

SearchPlus HR is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Orthopedic Surgeon at our prestigious private tertiary care hospital. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing advanced orthopedic surgical care to patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions. You will lead a team of orthopedic professionals, sharing your expertise and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and surgical outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include evaluating patients, performing specialized surgical procedures, and overseeing the delivery of post-operative care. As a senior member of the surgical team, you will also mentor junior surgeons and participate in educational initiatives within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations for orthopedic patients.
  • Perform advanced surgical procedures, including joint replacements, complex fracture repairs, and arthroscopic surgeries.
  • Develop and implement surgical protocols and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Supervise and mentor junior orthopedic surgeons and surgical staff.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Lead initiatives in continuous quality improvement and research in orthopedic practices.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment options, post-operative care, and rehabilitation.
Qualifications:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an orthopedic surgery residency program.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, preferably in a tertiary care setting.
  • Board certification in orthopedic surgery.
  • Proven surgical expertise in advanced orthopedic procedures.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice.
