Senior Patient Advocate, Oncology or Vascular Medtech

Job Summary and Responsibilities

JDL Access, LLC (JDLA) provides patient access support to medical device companies.

The Senior Patient Advocate, Oncology or Vascular Medtech is responsible for providing case support, training, quality assurance, and process standardization for our oncology and/or vascular medtech clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to patients through all phases of the prior authorization process, from benefit verification through independent review, for denied prior authorizations and claims
  • Coordinate pre- and post-service documentation
  • Review client letters for relevance
  • Provide frequent and ongoing communications to all parties
  • Maintain accurate documentation in databases and files
  • Adhere to quality of JDLA service through training, QA, and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, in particular patient confidentiality (HIPAA) in all JDLA practices
  • Perform other duties as needed

Role Requirements

  • Oncology and/or vascular medtech experience
  • At least three years of work on patient access programs for medical device companies

Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience working with patient health information
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong teamwork abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to follow operating processes
  • Comfortable presenting on Zoom/Teams and other platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
