Job Summary
Our clients rely on us to protect their homes, vehicles, and assets. As a Senior Personal Lines Account Manager, you will manage and advise a portfolio of clients, serving as their primary point of contact. This is not a transaction-based role. It's a relationship-driven, advisory position where your expertise shapes outcomes and your care sets us apart from every other agency in the market.
What You'll Do
- Client Advisory: Serve as the primary partner for complex personal lines accounts, proactively analyzing coverages, identifying risk gaps, and recommending tailored solutions.
- Portfolio & Renewal Management: Handle complex renewals, endorsements, and billing reconciliations. Partner closely with carriers to negotiate favorable terms and resolve underwriting challenges.
- Claims Advocacy: Guide clients through the claims process from first notice to final resolution, including complex or disputed claims, acting as their dedicated advocate.
- Internal Mentorship: Act as a technical resource for the team, mentoring junior account managers and reviewing work for quality and compliance.
- System Optimization: Utilize Applied Epic to maintain precise client records and help streamline internal workflows.
- Departmental Support & Growth Initiatives: Partner with agency leadership to contribute to strategies that support department growth and scalability, and serve as a subject matter expert resource for team workflows and operational improvements.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with the marketing team on outreach initiatives and represent the agency at local networking events to support regional brand awareness.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience with personal lines insurance, including management of complex accounts.
- Active Ohio Property & Casualty license.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client service skills with a demonstrated ability to advocate for clients in claims and underwriting situations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational ability, and comfort managing multiple priorities under deadline.
- A reliable, professional presence with a solutions-oriented mindset that aligns with our culture of growth and service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Applied Epic
- Advanced designations (CIC, CPCU, CISR etc.) or a demonstrated commitment to continued professional development.
Additional Information
- Location: Dublin, Ohio (In-Office). Note: Employees are eligible to request a hybrid schedule (up to 2 days remote) upon successful completion of their first 12 months, subject to performance and role requirements.
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. While employees must be reachable by clients during that time, some schedule accommodations may be considered to support individual needs. Please feel free to discuss this with us during the interview process.
- Compensation: $85,000 – $120,000 base salary annually, commensurate with experience, plus commission opportunities on new business sales.
