Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Petroleum Engineer to lead reservoir development, production optimization, and technical studies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and support safe, cost‑effective field operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead reservoir evaluation, modeling, and simulation studies to support development planning and production forecasting.
• Design and optimize well programs (drilling, completion, stimulation) to meet production and recovery targets.
• Perform production optimization: well testing, nodal analysis, ESP/rod pump selection, artificial lift design, and surface facility interface.
• Analyze reservoir performance, material balance, decline curve analysis, and recovery mechanisms; recommend remediation and enhancement plans.
• Prepare reserves estimates, technical reports, and input to economic evaluations and project approvals.
• Support field operations: well surveillance, production troubleshooting, workover planning, and reservoir monitoring.
• Coordinate with drilling, completions, facilities, HSE, and commercial teams to align technical solutions with operational constraints.
• Mentor junior engineers, review technical deliverables, and ensure best practices in engineering work.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company HSE policies.
• Participate in bidding, proposals, and client/stakeholder technical meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent; MSc or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in reservoir engineering, production engineering, or field development in upstream oil & gas.
• Strong experience with reservoir simulation (ECLIPSE/CMG), well performance analysis, and production optimization tools.
• Knowledge of well completions, artificial lift systems, stimulation techniques, and well testing interpretation.
• Proven track record in reserves estimation, decline curve analysis, and economic evaluation.
• Familiarity with industry standards, safety practices, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; fluent in English. Arabic is an advantage.
• Professional certification (e.g., SPE membership) and training in advanced reservoir/production methods are a plus.
