Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Pharmacy Technician (Customer Service Representative) to provide high-level support to patients, pharmacists, nurses, and healthcare professionals. This role is ideal for candidates with pharmacy technician experience and strong phone-based customer service or call center experience.

The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Both certified pharmacy technicians and experienced non-certified candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates without certification will be expected to obtain PTCB certification within 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer and patient records accurately in internal systems
  • Process prescription requests and enter patient demographic information
  • Serve as primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers
  • Handle inbound calls and customer service inquiries efficiently
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order processing
  • Resolve issues and provide solutions to patient and provider concerns
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) for team support and issue resolution
  • Mentor junior team members when needed
  • Assist with projects assigned by leadership

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required (Associate’s Degree preferred)
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in pharmacy, healthcare support, or customer service
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) OR willingness to obtain certification within 2 years
  • Strong phone-based customer service or call center experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Email)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with leadership capability

Preferred Experience

  • Call center or high-volume phone support experience
  • Experience supporting patients or healthcare providers
  • Experience working with prescription processing systems
  • Familiarity with healthcare or pharmacy workflows

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
