We are looking for a dedicated and clinically skilled Physician Assistant to support our Endocrinology department in delivering high-quality patient care.
The candidate will work closely with the consultant endocrinologist in patient evaluation, documentation, and treatment coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist doctor during patient consultations
- Record patient history, vitals, and clinical notes
- Support in diabetes & hormonal disorder management
- Prepare case sheets and EMR documentation
- Educate patients on medications, insulin usage, and lifestyle management
- Coordinate lab investigations and reports
- Assist in follow-ups and treatment planning
- Maintain patient confidentiality and clinical protocols
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree: Complete a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology or health sciences.
- Master's Degree: Enroll in a Master's program in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) accredited by the ARC-PA.
- Certification: Pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to obtain licensure.
- Specialization: Additional training or certification in endocrinology is beneficial, although it is not mandatory.
Prior clinical experience in internal medicine or primary care is highly recommended to develop foundational knowledge and skills needed for this specialty
