Job Description (Senior Pipeline Design Engineer – Doha)

This role is typically part of engineering consultancy companies like Tebodin (Bilfinger group), working on oil & gas / infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design onshore & offshore pipelines (oil, gas, water, utilities)

Perform:

Hydraulic calculations

Stress analysis

Pipeline routing & layout

Use engineering software:

AutoCAD / Civil 3D

CAESAR II (stress analysis)

Pipeline simulation tools

Prepare:

Design drawings

Technical reports

Material specifications

Coordinate with:

Civil, mechanical, and process teams

Clients (e.g., QatarEnergy projects)

Ensure compliance with:

International standards (ASME, API)

Local Qatar regulations
