About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer to join our Energy Mechanical team in one of the following Pond offices: Atlanta, GA; Peachtree Corners, GA; The Woodlands, TX; or Denver, CO. This role provides the opportunity to lead design efforts on a wide variety of Energy sector projects, including midstream terminal facilities, processing plants, and both commercial and military fueling systems.
As a senior member of the team, you will take ownership of developing and overseeing detailed 3D models and construction drawings for mechanical piping and equipment systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements, client expectations, and applicable industry standards. You will collaborate closely with Mechanical and Process Engineers to develop P&IDs and PFDs, lead the development and maintenance of piping specifications, and help guide junior designers to ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.
In addition to hands-on design, you will serve in a project lead capacity—coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing design scopes, providing oversight on drafting standards, and helping drive project schedules and quality outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on complex Energy projects while continuing to advance your leadership and technical capabilities.
