Our primary focus is personal injury, but we also handle a broad range of matters, including matrimonial, criminal defense, civil litigation, and real estate litigation.

This role is for a Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Paralegal who has the skills to manage personal injury cases from intake through trial preparation, working closely with our attorneys and team. While you’ll bring the ability to move a case forward, you will work in partnership with the attorneys and staff at every stage.

About the Role:

The focus of this position is approximately 75% plaintiff personal injury litigation, with the remainder supporting other legal matters. You will be involved in all phases of litigation — from intake, pleadings, and discovery to trial preparation — as part of a collaborative team. This is an ideal role for someone looking to apply the legal skills they already have while learning new ones, broadening their experience, and growing professionally within a supportive and expanding firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• No-Fault and property damage administration
• Medical record review with an understanding of injuries
• Preparation of settlement packages
• Valuation of cases and negotiation
• Manage personal injury cases from intake through trial preparation
• Draft and file pleadings, subpoenas, motions, and other court documents
• Prepare and respond to discovery and organize case materials
• Handle e-filing in NYS courts (NYSCEF, EDDS) and possibly PACER
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
• Assist in preparing cases for trial and settlement conferences
• Support attorneys with additional litigation and practice areas as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal experience with MOST of the above responsibilities is REQUIRED
• Strong understanding of New York State personal injury litigation and court filing procedures
• Able to take ownership of your work while collaborating closely with attorneys and staff
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficient on computers and with technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Motivated to learn and assist in other practice areas beyond personal injury
• A proactive team player with a strong work ethic
• Someone who is looking to grow, improve, and apply the skills they already have while taking their career to the next level
• Spanish speaking a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
