Senior Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed project schedules and plans using Critical Path Method (CPM) and Gantt charts.
• Track project progress against established baselines and identify any potential delays or deviations.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Assist with budget preparation, resource allocation, and cost estimation to ensure financial control.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports and updates to stakeholders, management, and clients.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure alignment.
• Ensure project activities comply with quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Analyze project data to identify trends and opportunities for improving future planning processes.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and identify issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in project planning, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• A meticulous approach to planning and organizing project details.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Construction Management, etc.) or a related field.
• Relevant experience, especially in managing construction or engineering projects, is a key asset.
