Job Opportunity: Senior Civil Planning Engineer

Location: Saudi Arabia
Experience: 10–15 Years

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Civil Planning Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning and scheduling functions of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare and establish the baseline schedule, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
• Monitor project progress against the approved baseline schedule and report variances.
• Perform resource planning, cost loading, and productivity analysis to ensure project efficiency.
• Conduct delay analysis and propose recovery and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to achieve timely project delivery.
• Identify potential risks and provide proactive solutions to minimize delays.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and company policies.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior planning staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• 10–15 years of proven experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale civil projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing and maintaining baseline schedules for complex projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Important Note: Candidates with less than 10 years of relevant experience or who do not meet the above criteria should not apply.
