Senior Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our project management team for large-scale high-rise building developments in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline programs, resource histograms, and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure proper planning and progress tracking.
• Conduct critical path analysis and highlight potential delays or risks to management.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in claims preparation, EOT (Extension of Time) analysis, and schedule recovery planning.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual scheduling and reporting requirements.
• Support tendering teams with project planning and resource estimation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of proven experience in project planning and control within the UAE.
• Strong background in high-rise building construction (minimum 30 floors preferred).
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, contract administration, and EOT claims.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts will be an added advantage.
