Responsibilities :

  • To prepare schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations as requested and checks and confirms that the correct scope of work is reflected on assigned schedules.
  • Review planning and scheduling of work to ensure that activities are effectively planned, resourced and completed.
  • Develops specific project codes of accounts and work breakdown structures, and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions for new work items assigned.
  • Check and review the most appropriate method and sequence of construction operations prepared by the Planning Engineer for a particular project, in conjunction with the Project Manager.
  • Establishes and implements methods for determining activity durations within assigned disciplines or specialties.
  • Determines critical-path activities for assigned discipline or specialties and identifies significant activities supporting inter- discipline requirements and identifies critical path for discipline or specialty work activities.
  • Reviews schedule data, identifies and acquires information needed to complete work logics to interface between assigned disciplines, specialties and/or projects.
  • Identifies, analyzes and monitors schedule deviations for assigned disciplines or specialties including contractor submittals and recommends corrective action/work-around solutions for project considerations.
  • Develops and writes the schedule commentary that appears in the monthly progress and similar reports. Identifies and reports activities that have a critical or potential impact on the schedule and prepares and presents the Critical Items Action Report.
  • Prepare and develop the master schedule for construction projects and the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for each project.
  • Perform critical path analysis and identify areas of concern.
  • Perform any other jobs as may be assigned by the superiors.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 15 years of experience with Bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering or similar.
  • Relevant experience in project control/planning process, and contract administration obtained through wide exposure to major projects like- building, infrastructure and more.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Planning and project management skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
