Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer

Experience Required: 7 to 9 years (Construction Industry – Villas & Residential Projects)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Planning Engineer to support the planning and scheduling functions for villa and residential projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery in line with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, baselines, work breakdown structures, and resource plans using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project progress, identify critical paths, and highlight potential delays or risks.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and variance analysis for management review.
• Assist in forecasting project timelines and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Participate in site meetings to track progress and resolve scheduling issues.
• Support delay analysis and provide recommendations for recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation related to planning and project controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 7 to 8 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in villa and residential projects.
• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience working on-site and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
