Senior Planning Engineer

Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years (UAE experience mandatory)

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in planning and scheduling within the UAE construction industry.
• Proven experience in building construction projects (high-rise, Industrial, residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
• Strong exposure to main contractor environment in UAE projects.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, WBS development, and baseline preparation.
• Experience in:
• Baseline schedule development and updates
• Delay analysis and EOT claims support
• Progress monitoring and reporting (weekly/monthly dashboards)
• Resource and productivity planning
• Good understanding of construction methodologies and site execution logic.

Contractual & Analytical Skills

• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and construction claims concepts.
• Ability to analyze delays, prepare forensic schedules / fragnets, and support contractual correspondences.
• Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM).

Reporting Skills

• Preparation of weekly/monthly progress reports for client and internal management.
• Ability to present schedule status, risks, and mitigation plans clearly.
• Strong analytical reporting.
• Developing procurement tracking log.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and coordination skills with site and project teams and subcontractors to ensure effective planning execution
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely delivery of planning deliverables in line with project requirements.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
