Senior Planning Engineer (Electrical/Civil)

A highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with extensive expertise in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and delay analysis for large-scale Electrical and Civil Engineering projects. Proficient in developing and maintaining project schedules using the latest version of Primavera P6, ensuring effective planning, resource optimization, and project control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project baseline schedules in Primavera P6 based on contract requirements, scope of work, and project milestones.
• Prepare, update, and maintain detailed project schedules throughout all phases of the project.
• Develop revised and recovery schedules to mitigate project delays and achieve contractual completion dates.
• Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, disruption claims, and associated supporting documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
• Perform schedule impact analysis, critical path analysis, and earned value analysis to monitor project performance.
• Monitor project progress through regular updates, identify schedule variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, manpower histograms, resource loading, cash flow forecasts, and executive dashboards.
• Develop procurement, engineering, construction, testing, and commissioning schedules.
• Analyze productivity, resource utilization, and project performance indicators to improve project efficiency.
• Participate in project planning meetings and provide planning support during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with contractual milestones, client requirements, and company planning procedures.
• Maintain project documentation related to planning, scheduling, and project controls.
