Senior Planning Engineer (MEP – High-Rise Projects)

We are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer with strong MEP experience in high-rise building projects within Qatar and GCC. The role involves overseeing project planning, scheduling, cost control, delay analysis, and reporting to ensure timely project delivery within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules (baseline & revised).
• Prepare 2-week and 4-week look-ahead schedules.
• Conduct delay analysis and recommend recovery plans.
• Prepare EOT (Extension of Time) claims and cause & effect analysis.
• Resource loading, cost control, and earned value analysis.
• Coordinate with Contracts, QS, Procurement, Estimation, Subcontractors, and Site teams.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, S-curves, manpower reports, and updated programs.
• Utilize Primavera / MS Project for planning and monitoring.
• Establish WBS and project control procedures.
• Monitor contractor performance against approved baseline schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years MEP experience (high-rise projects) in Qatar/GCC.
• Strong experience in project controls and planning.
• Proficiency in Primavera or MS Project.
• Strong communication skills (English required; Arabic preferred).
• Must be locally available in Qatar with valid QID.
• UPDA certification mandatory if QID profession is “Engineer”.
• Civil background candidates will not be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR17,000.00 per month
