Senior Planning Engineer - Oman

Qualifications

• Only applicants with Oman residency can apply. Work Location ( Jardaa -Ash Sharqiyah North)
• BSC Engineering (preferred Civil, Mechanical or Architecture)
• 7 – 12 years’ experience in a related field
• Good command of English language
• Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (good knowledge) , Primavera P6 EPPM, Client,

Job duties

• Comprehend Project Critical Paths review it with operation, Procurement and management.
• Perform the base line schedule and the assigned project resources in details for newly awarded projects including consistency of schedule, and matching company’s dictionaries.
• Monitor the project progress to verify that the updated schedule complies with the approved base line schedule and highlight critical issues and provide analysis to management staff.
• Prepare weekly, and monthly progress reports about the projects and provide input to management staff.
• Prepare and review close out report in coordination with the project team to be a reference for the company for the newly awarded projects.
• Perform remedy plan to complete the project schedule to ensure that critical issues and assumptions are covered.
• Prepare the Schedule Narrative.
• Attend Weekly progress meeting with the client when required.
• Attend internal weekly progress meeting with site team.
• Communicate with Project management Project risks, issues and mitigations required.
• Prepare with all site team delay analysis for extension of time claims, recovery and revised schedules.
• Acquire Departments approval signatures for the proposed schedules if required.
• Handle related special assignments if required.
