A respected and expanding commercial plumbing contractor in the Fort Worth, Texas region is seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of commercial construction projects from initial planning through final turnover. This leadership position is responsible for managing project operations, directing field teams, coordinating subcontractors and resources, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company objectives.
The ideal candidate is a results-oriented construction professional with extensive commercial plumbing expertise, strong operational leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage complex projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the overall execution of multiple commercial plumbing projects throughout all phases of construction.
- Perform routine jobsite visits to evaluate project status, installation quality, workforce performance, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate manpower planning, subcontractor scheduling, equipment utilization, material procurement, and project logistics.
- Partner with Superintendents, Foremen, and project teams to ensure schedules, milestones, and operational goals are achieved.
- Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, cost performance, and key operational metrics to maximize profitability and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, general contractors, suppliers, inspectors, and trade partners.
- Oversee project documentation processes, including RFIs, change orders, inspection records, T&M documentation, and closeout deliverables.
- Ensure payroll reporting, testing records, progress reports, and project documentation are submitted accurately and within required timelines.
- Manage company assets, including tools, equipment, vehicles, and field resources, ensuring proper maintenance and accountability.
- Identify project risks, scheduling conflicts, and operational challenges while implementing effective corrective actions.
- Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety programs, and jobsite compliance standards across all assigned projects.
- Promote clean, organized, and professional work environments while maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Mentor field leaders and project personnel by encouraging accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement initiatives.
QualificationsTechnical & Operational Expertise
- Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, construction methodologies, and installation practices.
- Demonstrated success managing commercial plumbing projects and leading construction operations.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, budgeting, labor management, and productivity analysis.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, contracts, and technical documentation.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field operations within commercial construction environments.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry-standard safety practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management software platforms.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in commercial plumbing construction, project management, operations leadership, or field supervision.
- Prior experience leading field teams, coordinating subcontractors, and managing project execution is highly desirable.
- OSHA certification or other industry-recognized credentials are considered an advantage.
