Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer / Administrator

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Power BI professional with over 10 years of expertise in both development and administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in DAX, Power Query (M), SQL Server, and dimensional data modeling, along with proven experience managing enterprise-scale Power BI environments. This role requires deep expertise in designing, developing, and administering Power BI solutions to support business-critical insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports with advanced DAX and Power Query (M).
• Design and implement dimensional data models to support analytical reporting.
• Administer Power BI Premium, including capacity management, data gateways, and Dev/Test/Prod environment support.
• Perform SQL query tuning and troubleshoot stored procedures to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver visually compelling and interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and security best practices when handling healthcare data (Revenue Cycle experience preferred).
• Integrate Power BI with Azure Data Services such as Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
• Provide guidance and support on best practices for BI development, deployment, and governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI (development and administration).
• Strong proficiency with DAX, Power Query (M), SQL Server, and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience in administering Power BI Premium, including gateways and environment management.
• Proven ability to tune SQL queries and troubleshoot stored procedures.
• Expertise in building interactive dashboards and paginated reports.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL DB).
• Industry experience in healthcare, with Revenue Cycle and HIPAA data preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
