Senior Principal Solutions Architect

Are you the visionary who sees the system, not just the code? CodeCubical Digital Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Principal Solutions Architect to define our technical future from our headquarters in Al Ain.

This is the highest individual contributor role in our engineering organization. You will not just be building applications; you will be blueprinting the digital ecosystems for government and enterprise clients across the Emirate. We are looking for a technical authority who can deconstruct complex business problems into elegant, scalable, cloud-native architectures. If you are tired of the "churn and burn" of typical agencies and want to do deep, structural architectural work in a focused environment, this is your design studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Vision: Define the "North Star" architecture for the organization, selecting the technology stack (Cloud, Data, Security) that will drive our projects for the next 5-10 years.
• Enterprise Design: Lead the design of complex, distributed systems using Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and Serverless patterns on Azure/AWS.
• Technical Governance: Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural review boards (ARB), and DevOps best practices to ensure technical debt is minimized.
• Legacy Modernization: Strategize the strangulation and migration of monolithic legacy systems into modern, containerized environments (Kubernetes/Docker).
• Client Advisory: Act as the primary technical counterpart to Client CTOs and CIOs, translating their business goals into technical roadmaps and feasibility studies.
• Mentorship: Elevate the engineering culture by mentoring Senior Developers and Solution Architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and curiosity.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 15+ years in Software Engineering, with at least 7 years dedicated to Solutions or Enterprise Architecture.
• Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot or .NET Core, coupled with modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular) and Database design (SQL/NoSQL).
• Cloud Native: Certified Professional Architect (AWS or Azure) with proven experience in building high-availability, auto-scaling systems.
• Frameworks: Proficiency in TOGAF or Zachman frameworks is preferred, but practical application is valued over theory.
• Communication: The ability to explain "CAP Theorem" to engineers and "ROI" to the CFO in the same meeting.
• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science is preferred.
