Senior Process Engineer

We're currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join our MSAT team. In this role, you will provide technical, engineering and scientific expertise to enable clinical and commercial manufacturing, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

• Working independently on cross functional activities to support the introduction of new products on existing manufacturing processes
• Taking a lead role in defining and delivering requirements for introduction of new processes, projects and equipment
• Leading scientific/technical troubleshooting and problem solving activities to determine root cause of events and identify suitable mitigation to prevent re occurrence
• Being primary point of contact for technical support for assigned product(s) within the OXB portfolio and subject matter expert (SME)
• Leading client facing projects as an MSAT representative

We are looking for:

• A degree in a Life Sciences or Biochemical Engineering discipline and/or significant proven experience in GMP biopharmaceutical or gene therapy manufacturing processing
• An understanding of health, safety and environmental aspects of the work carried out and ideally experience in using process hazard analysis (PHA) methodologies such as FMEA, HAZOP and HACCP
• Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements to enable clinical and commercial manufacture.
• Experience using statistical data analysis tools such as JMP and/or Minitab is desirable
• Understanding of process control and automation would be ideal
