Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (must)
Experience: 12-15 yrs in Procurement/Civil Construction Industry
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify and evaluate suppliers for materials, equipment, and services required for engineering and manufacturing projects. This includes conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budget constraints.
- Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process, including preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing logistics to ensure timely availability of resources.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project timelines and operational needs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured materials and equipment meet the required technical specifications and quality standards, conducting inspections as necessary.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the procurement process
