Senior Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities for large-scale projects, ensuring timely sourcing, cost efficiency, compliance, and quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and excellent coordination skills with project teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support project objectives.
• Manage vendor prequalification, selection, and evaluation processes.
• Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with the head office, the project, and engineering teams to understand technical specifications and requirements.
• Monitor and ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and dashboards for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering initiatives.
• Support dispute resolution with suppliers, including claims and contract administration when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in procurement within construction, infrastructure, fit-out or large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor negotiation.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, international procurement standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement management software.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Strong experience in Saudi Arabia
