Senior Procurement Officer/ Eng - Landscaping

PTWL is currently seeking a Senior Procurement Officer / Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end sourcing, procurement strategy, and vendor relationships for our landscaping and technical projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management

• Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for materials, equipment, and services
• Compare quotations, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and establish long-term strategic supplier relationships
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure full alignment on specifications and project requirements

Order Management & Inventory

• Oversee day-to-day procurement activities and guide procurement team members where required
• Manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of materials
• Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, contracts, and vendor data in internal systems
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with warehouse teams, and ensure proper material storage and control

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all purchased materials meet project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements
• Verify and track supplier documentation for finance and accounts compliance
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, industry standards, and UAE regulations

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare cost analysis reports, vendor performance evaluations, and procurement progress reports for senior management
• Maintain procurement dashboards, project documentation, and historical cost databases
• Track key procurement KPIs to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and support strategic decision-making

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with finance, accounts, operations, and project teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination and timely project delivery

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3–5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in landscaping, construction, or technical works in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement lifecycle
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and procurement tracking systems/ERP tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
