Senior Procurement Purchasing / Construction & Industrial Materials

The Procurement & Purchasing Engineer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing construction materials and services for industrial and civil projects, with a strong focus on AC flooring systems, cement, steel, and large-scale industrial materials .

The role requires close coordination with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, and on-time delivery.

• Source and purchase AC flooring systems, cement, steel, rebar, aggregates, finishing materials, and industrial construction supplies
• Prepare and issue LPO, RFQs, RFIs, and purchase orders
• Evaluate supplier quotations technically and commercially
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranties
• Ensure procurement aligns with project specifications, BOQs, and drawings

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable local and international suppliers
• Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, pricing)
• Resolve supply issues, shortages, or delays proactively

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Planning teams
• Ensure timely material availability according to project schedules
• Track material submittals, approvals, and deliveries
• Support cost control and value engineering initiatives

• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual requirements
• Support audits and internal controls related to purchasing
• Coordinate logistics, delivery notes, and invoices with finance

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 5–7 years experience in construction or industrial procurement
• Strong experience with AC flooring, cement, steel, and industrial materials
• Experience in UAE / GCC construction market preferred
• Solid negotiation and supplier management skills
• Ability to read technical drawings and BOQs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
