About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations. This role is responsible for optimizing cost, quality, and delivery across our supply chain while ensuring strong supplier relationships and compliance with internal policies. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, deep procurement expertise, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and quality improvements.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and award decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance, reliability, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and ensure timely availability of goods/services.
• Analyze market trends, pricing conditions, and supplier performance to support decision-making.
• Monitor contract compliance, manage renewals, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and digital procurement enhancements.
• Ensure procurement policies and procedures are followed and align with company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management in the UAE (mandatory).
• Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing suppliers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or similar).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Strong network of UAE suppliers, contractors, and service providers across multiple categories.
• Familiarity with UAE customs processes, import/export documentation, and local regulatory requirements.
• Experience in cost-analysis, demand forecasting, and category management.
• Advanced negotiation and contract drafting skills specific to UAE market standards.
• Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to evaluate supplier performance.
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in fast-paced or project-based environments in the UAE.
