Senior Procurement Specialist

Location: Hyderabad
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier onboarding, vendor updates, and compliance checks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and guide them through procurement procedures.
  • Support RFQ processes, vendor management, and full procurement lifecycle activities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance procurement systems, processes, and policies.
  • Use procurement systems to monitor, track, and maintain data accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with documentation, reporting, and system-based procurement activities.
  • Support additional procurement-related tasks and projects assigned by management.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and spreadsheet tools (Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks.
  • Ability to document processes and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
  • Min 3-5+ years of experience in procurement lifecycle management.
  • Experience in obtaining bids, managing suppliers, and handling procurement operations.
  • Exposure to working with global teams or BPO environments is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and tools; leadership experience with small teams is a plus.
