Senior Procurement Specialist

Strategic Procurement & Planning

• Develop and implement procurement strategies specifically for finishing materials aligned with project timelines and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with project, design, QS, and planning teams to understand finishing material requirements across multiple projects.
• Drive value engineering initiatives by identifying cost-effective and quality alternative materials or suppliers.

Vendor Management & Negotiation

• Identify, develop, and manage a robust and diversified vendor base for finishing materials (tiles, sanitary ware, hardware, paints, modular items, etc.).
• Lead vendor assessments, audits, and approvals in line with technical and commercial criteria.
• Negotiate long-term rate contracts, MoUs, and annual rate agreements with key suppliers.

Project Procurement Oversight

• Oversee procurement planning and execution for finishing scope in line with master project schedules (residential, commercial, or hospitality).
• Monitor procurement KPIs like delivery timelines, budget adherence, and quality metrics.
• Ensure all procurement aligns with BOQ, drawings , and technical specifications.

Team & Process Management

• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals (executives to managers) in material planning and procurement execution.
• Streamline procurement processes, documentation, and compliance through ERP systems.
• Coordinate with logistics, stores, and QA/QC teams to ensure timely delivery and quality checks.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

• Provide regular MIS reports on procurement status, budget tracking, and risk areas to senior management.
• Liaise with project heads, commercial teams, and finance for procurement planning and reconciliation.

Key Materials Handled:

• Floor & wall tiles, marble/granite, sanitary ware, CP fittings, paints, false ceiling, doors/windows, light fittings, modular furniture, etc.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education:
• B.E./B.Tech Civil
• PG in Supply Chain / Operations / MBA (added advantage)

Experience:

• 15+ years of relevant experience in procurement of finishing materials in real estate, contracting, or interior project firms.
• Proven experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or hospitality projects preferred.
