Key Responsibilities1. Procurement Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for aluminum systems, curtain wall materials, façade components, and subcontracted works.
  • Coordinate with engineering, planning, production, and project teams to forecast material requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate cost trends for aluminum billets, profiles, glass, cladding, and hardware.

2. Supplier Sourcing & Management

  • Identify, qualify, and evaluate suppliers for aluminum profiles, façade systems, glazing, insulation, brackets, sealants, and accessories.
  • Maintain supplier databases and relationships with local and international vendors.
  • Perform supplier capability assessments, factory visits, and quality audits.

3. Tendering & Negotiation

  • Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and tender packages for materials and façade subcontractors.
  • Analyze technical and commercial aspects of quotations.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contract terms to achieve best value.

4. Contracting & Compliance

  • Draft and issue purchase orders, supply contracts, and service agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, international façade standards, and company procurement policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and enforce contractual obligations.

5. Logistics, Delivery & Coordination

  • Coordinate production lead times, extrusion schedules, glass delivery, powder coating/anodizing processes, and site delivery sequences.
  • Work with logistics teams on shipping, customs clearance, and timely delivery.
  • Address material shortages, damage claims, and quality issues.

6. Cost Control & Value Engineering

  • Track procurement budgets, cost savings, and cash-flow impacts.
  • Support value engineering initiatives without compromising façade performance or safety.
  • Monitor price fluctuations in aluminum, glass, and façade-related materials to manage procurement risks.

7. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with engineering, QA/QC, planning, production, and installation teams.
  • Provide regular procurement status reports and procurement schedules.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and digital tools (ERP/SCM systems).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–10+ years of procurement experience in aluminum, curtain wall, façade, glazing, or metal fabrication industry.
  • Strong understanding of aluminum extrusion, façade systems, glazing processes, and related materials.
  • Experience with international sourcing and import/export processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
