Role Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer who will play a key role in defining the user experience across FYERS’ suite of trading and investing products. You’ll be responsible for crafting elegant design solutions that simplify complex financial workflows, while mentoring designers and contributing to the evolution of our FYERS Design Style Guide (FDSG) and processes.

Responsibilities

• 
  Lead design initiatives for core FYERS products — from discovery and research to final implementation.

• 
  Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data teams to shape product strategy through a design lens.

• 
  Translate product and business requirements into intuitive, user-centered experiences across mobile and web platforms using FDSG.

• 
  Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to communicate design concepts effectively.

• 
  Uphold and evolve the FYERS Design Style Guide to ensure visual and interaction consistency.

• 
  Conduct user interviews, usability studies, and competitor analysis to validate design decisions.

• 
  Act as a mentor to junior designers, providing feedback and fostering a culture of craft and design excellence.

• 
  Partner with the Design Manager to drive design reviews, team rituals, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 
  5+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, preferably for Fin-tech, or data-heavy products.

• 
  A portfolio demonstrating deep UX thinking and UI execution.

• 
  Good knowledge of tools like Figma and familiarity with prototyping tools.

• 
  Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, and usability principles.

• 
  Experience collaborating in agile environments with cross-functional teams.

• 
  Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to articulate design rationale clearly.

• 
  Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and passion for solving user problems.

Nice to have

• 
  Experience in designing for trading, investment, or analytics platform.

• 
  Basic understanding of front-end technologies and developer hand-off processes.
