We are expanding our desktop application offerings and are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to elevate the user experience to world-class standards.

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and experienced UX/UI Designer to lead the design of our desktop software applications. You will be responsible for shaping intuitive, dentist-friendly user interfaces, conducting user research, building design systems, and ensuring every interaction within Atomica AI’s platform is elegant, efficient, and simple for clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end UX and UI design process for Atomica AI’s desktop applications
• Translate complex dental workflows into intuitive, easy-to-use designs
• Conduct user research and usability testing with clinicians to uncover insights and pain points
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate product concepts clearly
• Develop and maintain a scalable design system and UI guidelines for consistency across products
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and clinical experts to ensure seamless design implementation
• Stay up to date with best practices in UX/UI, design tools, and desktop application design patterns

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio of desktop software projects
• Proven ability to design for complex, professional, or technical applications (experience in healthcare, medtech, CAD/CAM, or similar industries is a plus)
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma)
• Strong understanding of design systems, interaction design, and information architecture
• Ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
• A mindset focused on simplicity, usability, and clinician experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working with 3D visualization, CAD-style interfaces, dental or medical imaging tools
• Background in dentistry, or CAD design.
